General Activities
The EERA funded project Ecologies of Teacher Induction and Mentoring in Europe (TIME) is making excellent progress with one meeting held in Iceland in 2022. The project is coordinated by Hannu Heikkinen, together with Eva Bjerkholt from University of South-Eastern Norway, Helle Plauborg from Aarhus University, Denmark and Michelle Helms-Lorenz form University of Groningen, the Netherlands.

There is a close link with the journal Professional Development in Education published by Taylor & Francis One of our convenors, Giorgio Ostinelli, co-authored an article published in PDiE: Giorgio Ostinelli & Alberto Crescentini (2021) Policy, culture and practice in teacher professional development in five European countries. A comparative analysis, Professional Development in Education, DOI: 10.1080/19415257.2021.1883719 Routledge has accepted a proposal for an edited book by Ken Jones, Giorgio Ostinelli and Alberto Crescentini entitled 'Innovation in Teacher Professional Learning in Europe: Research, Policy and Practice'. This contains chapters written by authors and presenters from recent ECER conferences
Future Plans
NW1 convenors will be hopefully be meeting again before the end of 2022 to look strategically at possibilities for future projects and to plan for ECER Glasgow 2023.
