Within #ECER2022, the Network 6. Open Learning: Media, Environments and Cultures continued their work on issues of Diamond Open Access publishing by hosting a joint session together with Network 12. Open Research in Education and Network 20. Research in Innovative Intercultural Learning Environments.
Future Activities
Future plans of Network include to give access and overviews to European Media Education. An exemplary element is the project core-evidence.eu that collects voices, concepts, and theories on the relation between media and users from different European and international perspectives. Further technical approaches such as using AI for translating scientific publications in the field of Media Education need consideration to provide access to research in our field. The Network will continue their work on issues of Diamond Open Access publishing by collecting, discussing, and promoting showcases of Diamond Open Access activities for #ECER2023, together with associates and other Networks.
